What our team can help with

Our support team can answer questions about the matching process, the status of a request you submitted through our site, your privacy and marketing choices, and how to use the guides and tools on this website.

  • Explaining how a request is shared with lenders and what a soft inquiry means
  • Confirming whether a request was received and which lender, if any, you were connected with
  • Updating or correcting contact information you entered by mistake
  • Stopping marketing emails, texts or calls from us
  • Privacy requests, such as access to or deletion of your personal information
  • Reporting a website problem or a message that claims to be from us but looks suspicious

What our team cannot help with

Exeter Auto Loan cannot approve a loan, change a lender's decision, adjust a rate or fee, change a due date, or accept a payment, because we are a matching service and not a lender.

Once you accept an offer, your loan account belongs to the lender. For questions about payments, payoff amounts, hardship plans, late fees or an approval decision, contact the lender directly using the phone number or email in your loan agreement. If a lender declined your request, that lender is required to tell you the main reasons on request, and only that lender can reconsider. We are also unable to give individual legal, tax or financial advice.

What to include in your message

Including your full name, the email address you used on your request, and the approximate date you submitted it helps our team find your record quickly and answer in a single reply.

For your security, never email us your full Social Security number, bank account number or passwords. We will never ask for them by email or text, and we will never ask you to pay a fee to receive a loan offer. If anyone contacting you in our name asks for money up front, do not pay, and let us know.

Privacy and data requests

Requests to access, correct or delete personal information, or to opt out of the sale or sharing of data, can be sent by email or phone, and we respond within the time required by applicable state law.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Details on the categories of data we collect and your rights are in our privacy policy. To learn how the service is funded, see our advertiser disclosure.

Complaints and feedback

Complaints about our service are reviewed by a supervisor, and we aim to acknowledge every complaint within two business days and resolve it, or explain our next steps, within ten business days.

Feedback about a lender in our network is useful too. While we cannot change a lender's decision, we review patterns in borrower feedback when deciding which lenders remain in our network. You can also contact your state's financial regulator or the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau if you have a complaint about a lender.
