By using the website or submitting a loan request, you agree to these Terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

Description of the service

Exeter Auto Loan provides a free online service that collects your loan request and shares it with independent lenders and lending partners that may offer personal loans of $500 to $5,000 for car-related expenses.

We also publish educational guides, calculators and comparison tools. Content is for general information only and is not financial, legal or tax advice. Calculator results and rate examples are estimates and are not offers of credit.

No lender relationship

Exeter Auto Loan is not a lender, does not make credit decisions and is not a party to any loan agreement; any loan you accept is solely between you and the lender that offered it.

• We do not approve or deny loans, set rates, fees or terms, or fund loans.
• Submitting a request does not ensure that you will receive an offer or be approved.
• We do not endorse any particular lender, and we do not control a lender's actions, disclosures or collection practices.
• Exeter Auto Loan is independent and not affiliated with Exeter Finance LLC or any similarly named lender.

Eligibility to use the service

To submit a request you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state), a legal US resident with a valid Social Security number, and able to enter into a binding contract.

Lenders set their own additional requirements, such as minimum income, an active checking account, residence in a state where they lend, and credit criteria. The service is not available where prohibited by law.

Your responsibilities

By using Exeter Auto Loan, you agree to provide true, complete and current information, to submit requests only for yourself, and to use the website only for lawful personal purposes.

You agree not to:

• Submit a request using another person's identity or false income or employment information
• Interfere with the website's security, scrape it with automated tools, or attempt unauthorized access
• Upload malicious code or use the website to send spam
• Copy, resell or commercially exploit the website or its content without our written permission

Providing false information on a credit request may violate federal and state law.

Authorization to share and verify

Submitting a request authorizes Exeter Auto Loan to share your information with lenders and partners, and authorizes those lenders to obtain consumer reports and verify the information you provided.

Lenders typically use a soft credit inquiry to evaluate a request, which does not affect credit scores. A lender may perform a hard inquiry if you choose to continue with its application. You also consent to receive calls, emails and text messages about your request as described in our privacy policy, and you may revoke marketing consent at any time.

Intellectual property

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, page design, calculators and software, is owned by or licensed to Exeter Auto Loan and is protected by United States copyright and trademark laws.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our prior written permission. Lender names and marks belong to their respective owners.

Third-party websites

Exeter Auto Loan may direct you to lender and partner websites that we do not operate, and your use of those websites is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any lender will make you an offer, or that any offer will be the lowest available rate. Repair cost ranges, APR ranges and payment examples on the website are estimates and may differ from what you are actually charged.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Exeter Auto Loan is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the website, the service or any loan you obtain from a lender.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the website or service will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Exeter Auto Loan and its officers, employees and agents from claims, losses and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your submission of false information.

Governing law and disputes

Ohio law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio.

If the dispute is not resolved, either party may bring a claim in court. Eligible claims may be brought in small claims court in your county of residence. These Terms do not require arbitration.

Changes and termination

Exeter Auto Loan may modify these Terms, the website or the service at any time, and changes take effect when posted on this page; continued use after posting means you accept the revised Terms.

We may suspend or end your access to the website if you violate these Terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms, together with our privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the website.
